Thomas “Tom” Moore joined Petersen Motorsports/White Lightning Racing
in 2003. With Petersen/ White Lightning he has enjoyed success with three ALMS
GT2 titles in 2005, two 24 Hours of Le Mans victories (’03 and ’04),
the 2005 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans GT2 titles (’05,’06)
and a total of ten ALMS victories. Moore works in nearly every major North American
race series including the ALMS, Grand American, IndyCar, USAC, NASCAR, SCCA
and Formula BMW. Since beginning his career in motorsports media relations,
Moore has worked five Indianapolis 500s, four 24 Hours of Le Mans, for the 2004
Grand-Am Cup GS and 2005 Rolex Series GT champion, multiple Grand American victories,
five SCCA T1 divisional titles, Nextel Cup, IndyCar and ARCA events. Moore was
part of the first media relations staff for the Petit Le Mans (’98) and
the ALMS (’99) as well as for off-shore powerboat manufacturer Cigarette
Racing Team and chassis builder Pilbeam North America.

Moore holds a bachelors degree from the University of Georgia. When not at the
track with Petersen/White Lightning, Moore is president and CEO of Darkhorse
Autosport, Inc. working exclusively for motorsports clients. He lives in Franklin,
Tennessee with his wife, Julia, and daughter, Jessica.
