bio brief
Dean Richardson first came to Petersen Motorsports/White Lightning Racing by
developing the team’s first CD-Rom media kit and redeveloping the team’s
web site in 2003. While continuing in that role in each subsequent season, he
expanded his position in 2004 at the Petit Le Mans by assisting the team at
the track and acting as deadman valve operator on race day. His technical skills,
work ethic and sense of humor made him an immediate favorite to the team. He
returned for the spring race at Road Atlanta in 2005 and continued to expand
his role on the team. In 2006, he worked the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le
Mans for the team as he did in 2005. He was asked to join the program fulltime
in 2007 as the team’s spotter at pit lane as well as other on-sight duties.
